Please note that grasscloth is a natural product and made by hand. Each roll will have a slight color variation even if it’s the exact same pattern. There will be visible seams, this is part of the natural beauty of this type of wallcovering. As we say, celebrate the seams. Slight yellowing or discolouration over time is a natural characteristic of bleached sisal, particularly when exposed to direct sunlight or strong UV light.

Please also note that our natural fiber sisal grasscloths do not undergo any special UV treatment or coating, so some color change over time is considered normal and expected.

For areas with strong sunlight, we would recommend the use of window coverings or positioning the material in more shaded areas to help reduce exposure and slow the ageing process.
