Since 2012
To keep things mysterious, we call ourselves Henrietta and Paco. We met in a hotel elevator in Nashville, TN, both on work trips. Henrietta was selling interior furnishings to the design trade, and Paco was designing the set for a Bon Jovi music video. In the brief descent through three hotel floors, we uncovered our shared love for design and an undeniable passion for wallcoverings. That chance encounter sparked the dream of creating our own wallpaper collection—a dream that soon became reality.
Fast forward a few years, a move to sunny Venice Beach, CA, and the arrival of our first baby boy, and Abnormals Anonymous was born.
Nowadays, we’ve traded sandy beaches for the lush greenery of Bainbridge Island, WA, where we live with our two boys, Charley and Nash (named after Nashville, of course) and our studio dog Willie.
When we’re not designing wallpapers, you’ll find us boating, exploring the stunning PNW, perfecting our cappuccino game, or cheering from the sidelines at soccer matches.
Fun facts? Paco is on a mission to find the ugliest pumpkin in the patch, and Henrietta can’t resist 80’s yacht rock and a good bagel with lox.

Process
Our work is inspired by the wonder and awe in life's everyday moments. Infused with coastal, floral, fauna and experienced motifs, our designs reinvent elements of the everyday into dramatic and playful patterns. The designs begin their voyage to pattern form from hand-drawn art, vintage documents reimagined, and artist collaborations. Join us on a journey where the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
