Since 2012
To maintain anonymity we call ourselves Henrietta and Paco. We met in an elevator in Nashville, TN while both visiting for work [Henrietta was selling interior furnishings to the design trade and Paco was designing the set for a Bon Jovi music video]. Somehow, in the quick descent through all three floors of the hotel, we discovered our common passion for design and lust for wallcoverings. Our mutual dream of designing our very own wallpaper collection was soon realized. Many moons later, after a move to Los Angeles together [Venice Beach!], and a baby boy, Abnormals Anonymous was born.
Paco’s personal duty is to pick the ugliest pumpkin in the patch and Henrietta loves 80’s yacht rock and could live off of lox and bagels for the rest of her life.
We now live on Bainbridge Island in a small home, with our two young boys, Charley and Nash (yes, he was named after Nashville) our dog Willie and bearded dragon, Spike. You can find us boating, exploring the PNW, making cappuccinos, and going to all the soccer with our kiddos.

Process
Our work is inspired by the wonder and awe in life's everyday moments. Infused with coastal, floral, fauna and experienced motifs, our designs reinvent elements of the everyday into dramatic and playful patterns. The designs begin their voyage to pattern form from hand-drawn art, vintage documents reimagined, and artist collaborations. Join us on a journey where the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
