Raised in a vibrant domestic environment layered with decoration, artist Anna Redmond’s obsession with pattern began. After receiving a BFA in painting and printmaking from Kansas State University, Redmond moved to Seattle to earn her MFA in Fibers at the University of Washington. It was there that she explored pattern as a conceptual landscape and decorative tool. Working in large-scale installations she found herself diving deeper into a fascination with surface design. For the last 10 years Redmond has worked professionally as a designer and artist with in the interior design world.
